Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) need wiring diagram for '96

I rented a mini-excavator last week. I plugged the rental store's trailer into my truck and I observed several things when I got back to my house after a 15 minute ride: The trailer wire cluster was hot to the touch, the abs light and the brake light are now lit constantly, the fuel gauge constantly reads "full" (it's not... trust me) and now the passenger side window no longer works.



My best guess is that there's a common ground that is shot. Can anybody point me towards a wiring diagram for a 1996 2500? Thanks for any help. -Joi

I have a 96 service manual, but nothing available online. . If you can think of a few sections you want to hunt down, I can mebe scan some pages for ya. .

in reference, my trailer wiring harness was burnt up when I bought the truck. Multiple fusible links were visibly burnt just past the PDC under the hood. . I have since wired in a stopgap directly off my tail lights, which works well with small trailers. .

The wiring diagram is huge. That's why you have to get the service manual.
