I am having trouble with my cruise and heater direction flap. Both of them quite working last week. I have a manual on order but it will not get here till next week. I would like to work on it this weekend. Can anyone fax me a copy of the wiring diagram? Does anyone have it on CD that can e-mail it to me? Any help would be great. My work e-mail (for large files) is srlang@harropUSA.com and my fax is (614)235-3699. Put att: Scott Lang on the top.

Thanks fellas

Look for a Vacuum Problem

My guess is that you have lost your vacuum source, since I think that is the only common link between the two systems. Been under the hood moving things around lately?

Scott,

Your problem could be you vacuum pump check valve. This was supposed to be redesigned after '96. Fritz's web site says the '97 check valves are malfunctioning after 4 years.

The 2 problems you mention are common ones when the vacuum pump check valve screws up and lets engine oil contaminate the vacuum system.

See if you can remove a hose on the vacuum system. Check to see if it smells or looks like engine oil is in the lines. This could be a ***** to repair correctly.

Got it Fixed

As always you guys are quick and accurate. HEMI thanks for the diagram. I forgot to put the vacuum hose back on last week when I was playing with the steering box.

Thanks a bunch
