I know this is probably not the correct forum, but I'll post anyhow. This morning at about 11 am a fellow officer of mine here in San Antonio was shot and killed while handling a disturbance. He was a 25 year veteran with a family. If you would keep his family and the rest of us in your prayers... ..... Thx

This evening, for other friends, I raised a toast "to all those who've gone on ahead. " I'd be proud to include your colleague the next time I raise that toast. He and his family are in my prayers, but I firmly believe that a man can show "no greater love" than in laying down his life for his friends or his duty.

My prayers are on the way for his family and friends!!!

May the person or persons who commited this crime be caught and delt with in a manner to equal their actions!!!!!!!!!!

God has a special section in heaven for those who have chosen to help protect us from all the "evils" in this world.
My family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I'd be glad to pray for this man's family.

I'd like to take the opportunity to say I'm proud of and very thankful for people like this man and yourself who put themselves in harms way to protect the public (like most of us in this group!), and for their families that support them, knowing that every day brings more danger.

Sending prayers and feelings of sorrow from the north end of Washington State. May this man find everlasting freedom from the war against crime and hostilities. Our hearts go out to his loved ones. Dave

He and his family are in our prayers. I'm in the military (25 years) and have lost comrades in the line of duty. God has a special place for those who pay the ulimate price.

Catch the perpetrator!

We owe Law Enforcement Officers Our Prayers and thanks all the time. May God comfort all involved with this on this sad day.

My Prayers also will be added to those of the others. I hope to God that the perpetrators of this crime are caught and punished to the full extant of the law. And my sincere thanx to SA LAW and all of those who put their lives on the line for us all, and those who have giving the ultimate price, thank you!

This is indeed the correct forum to post your request for prayer. I hope none of us ever forget what our priorties should be.

Ditto to all the above. I wonder when we are going to start treating criminals appropriately. This guy and his defense attorney should rot in hell.

I know the pain of this type of loss. . my Father died in line of duty in 1974 a 23 year vet. of the Oakland, Ca. force. . your fellow officer will be in my prayers as well as his loved ones. .

I'm very sorry to hear of another fallen hero. I had never had any idea how difficult their job REALLY was until I trained with several of the best tacticians in this country. After that, I had a new respect for our law enforcement men and women. They lay their life on the line for all of us each and every day, each and every call. My prayers go out to our fallen hero and his family. I hope the lord gives them the power and strength to deal with this.

Brian (SA Law), thank you for pledging your commitment to protect and to serve.

God bless

Our thoughts and prayers go out to your friends family. I believe the killer will pay on his judgement day, if not here on earth.

Brian, real sorry to hear of the great loss. My prayers and those of all my brother officers are with you all. Whenever this happens it seems to bring reality into view, we always say to each other "be safe", unfortunately, sometimes that is not enough. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do on my end.
