My brother & I are retrofitting a 92 Cummins with automatic/OD trans into an 86 D-250. We have the engine, trans, and all wiring harness, and computer, EXCEPT for the lead from the main harness to the transmission. Would like to buy, used or new, and would even take a damaged harness if the connector plugs are usable. Any help appreciated. Thanks

The plug for the OD can be had from the dealer if they have a book that lists the plugs.

The neutral safety switch is pretty common unless you need the temp sense wire in it.

Exactly which harnesses do you need?

Guys, Thanks for the replies. Sorry I didn't supply more info. At present, I'm 550 miles away from the shop, so I can't eyeball the harness. We need the wiring that connects to the neutral safety sw. , the O. D. plug, and the Speedo/distance sensor, and at the other end plugs into the harness to the truck/engine harness, I believe with two multi-prong connectors. (I'm making a SWAG based on illustrations & diagrams in the factory service manual I carry in my other truck). I'll be back home late next week and can pin it down better then. Thanks again, Jack Dancoe
