Thanks for the input. Source Automotive gave me a recommendation here in Portland. Hoping to get it there tomorrow I'm fighting the fan at the moment. I always ran on level 3 before the BB1's it was a bit smoky when I changed injectors so per Bill at Source we went to level 1 and changed a few settings. I don't remember what they were but my mileage went up almost 1mpg. Soon as I get it back together the plan is to have Source Dyno tune it.

You might want to consider EFI from Anarchy after the rebuild. The tune will be safer with far less smoke than with Smarty

BTW, the BBI 0.5 are great, Just ordered a new turbo.

Rolling down the slab daily. 110K and counting...Had it custom tuned at Source virtually no smoke. Last trip I averaged just under 14mpg grossing about 18K. Very happy with the results.

Haven't been on in awhile...been busy driving. About 220K on the rebuild. So update wise still pulling strong. Could not be happier with how this engine pulls. Averaging just shy of 14mpg towing everyday. The remain BB1's are still working great.

Thanks for the update. If my math is correct, you should have close to a million miles on the truck now.

Have you updated your FS-2500 to the spin on style filters yet? (I'm still using the original style on my Jeep.)

I actually loss an engine early on to a failed after market inject.
My truck is at almost 1.2 million.

Haven’t been on here in ages…almost 1.6 million on the truck right around 600K on the rebuild.
Still rolling hard. I actually just sold my business that I used the truck for I’ll average closer to 30K a year now instead of 100K.
I couldn’t be happier with the engine build. Nothing I’d change.
