Apology to Amsoil users/dealers

Change the Edge Comp on the go?

I just put a needle valve in line for my FP gauge. I just got sick of the buzzing gauge. I have the valve open about a third of a turn and the gauge does not buzz anymore :D . But now my pressures seem to be higher.

Idle has stayed the same = 13 - 14 psi

Cruise on freeway at 70 - 80 mph has gone from 11 psi to 12 psi

Those pressure differences are not that big of a deal, it's the WOT that has me wondering. Before the needle valve I was able to pull it down to 7. 5 psi at WOT. Now with the valve it will not drop much below 10. 5 psi. That's a 3 - 4 psi difference at WOT  . How can this be ?? Ideas please !!

TIA

Jeff

P. S. My truck has stock fueling for now with the exception of larger line and fittings between LP and filter.

I had to tweak the setting on mine a little to make sure the pressure would drop quickly enough when nailing the throttle.

Try opening it up an 1/8 of a turn more. ;)
