Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Negative Lugs on Engine

Project is to replace positive and negative battery cables. I have all the parts except the negative lugs that go onto the engine block end. Normal lugs will not work(2/0) due to the large washer & size of bolt head hitting shoulder. I checked this before starting the project. Anyone know where to purchase these?

Don't know about the washer, there is probably something available that will work but for the bolt you could use a socket head cap screw. bg

Exactly. Just change the bolt.

Electrical supply stores have many different size lugs to chose from, I've used some crimp style that had room for a flat washer.

How big is the washer? I have some Waytek crimp lugs #36534 here. Looks like a 1.2" (3cm) OD washer will clear.

BTW, this $40 hydraulic crimper at Amazon works great. DON'T buy the Harbor Freight - dies are very undersized.
