Just what we need, another synthetic oil choice  LOL

I stumbled onto these guys last night, http://www.neosyntheticoil.com/ and thought it looked interesting. Anyone heard of or tried Neo's synthetic oils? They say their 5W30, 10W40 and 15W40 can be used in diesel engines. The Viscosity Index looks pretty impressive, around 180 for most of them. Cold pour point temperatures are very good too even for the 15W40.

Acccording to their website they have been in the market since 1970 and have quite a bit of racing experience (doesn't everyone though?). Their oils seem to be pretty premium stuff. I priced some on a website at almost $10 a quart

The Neo oils are not CH-4 rated in their diesel line-up. Only CG, I believe.

It is probably good oil but not rated for what we need.

Hey Vaughn, I used NEO synthetics in several of my 4x4s (pre Ram)... from about the early '80s to into the early '90s. NEO makes very high quality synthetics.

I later switched (exclusively) to Red Line synthetics until approximately a year and a half ago (or so) when I again switched, this time to Amsoil.

Additionally, I have tried almost every synthetic that has been marketed in the last twenty years... some good, some were just OK. One I do miss though, HPS (High Performance Synthetics)... they made some really awesome synthetics!

Come on Vaughn, was this just a test to see if I was still around? :D
