How does one get the transfercase to the neutral position when you have electric shifter knob?

Post back if you don't have an owners manual... I don't have mine in front of me, but I remember there are like a dozen steps to follow.

no tcase neutral

I don't have the manual handy. I recall it to be a simple procedure but it refuses to budge--the knob will not turn counterclockwise from 2wd or further from 4lo. I thought this would be the easy way to service/lube the drive shafts but it is becoming a confusing##%&@@#!!!!***

From my memory, step on brake and clutch if you have one. Then push small inset button just below switch with a pen or something small. Hold in for a few seconds. Probably with the ignition on. Reverse process to put back into neutral. This is in the owners manual, but was hard to find. Probably would be a good theft deterrent.

I agree with the last post.

1. turn knob to neutral

2. step on break & clutch if you have one.

3. push and hold little button to the lower left of the knob,I think!
