new 01 and a half

Boy, this truck thing is getting to be like the electronics thing. You can't buy this stuff fast enough. I just got a new truck, 4 mos. ago, and now it's junk because the NEW truck offers WAY more benefits than my 'OLD' truck. I'm sorry now I didn't know, and didn't wait, for the 'NEW' truck. But , if I had known and waited, maybe then I should have waited a few more weeks for another NEW model. I always believed that our pickups were kind of sacred and steady and could be relied on to offer sanity in this screwed up world, but nooo, now our trucks are playing the always catching up thing. Kind of sad, isn't it??It wouldn't be so bad ,but these things are EXPENSIVE. Whats the saying ," time and tide wait for no man", but jeez, give us a break? I guess I'm just getting old.

The days of the 10-15-20 year truck model run are over...



You will see truck body turnover approaching the 5 year term of cars because of their sales. The old Dodge D/W chassis went from 72 to 93 - the current Ram only went 94 to 02, and expect the new Ram to be just as quick to change if not sooner.
