2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission New 02

OK,got a 02 3500 coming Friday,but don't know weather to get 4. 10 or 3. 54. It will be a 6 spd HO. Have one of each to choose from. I will be towing about 7000 # a couple times a month. up and down hills but mostly flatland. witch will be best for millage?I know the 3. 54 is good with the auto but what about the stick? thanks,Mike
