Ordered new truck on 10-13-03 called Chrysler today they said truck is built and waiting to be shiped up here to Michigan WOW built truck in just 2 weeks

I'm with ya! Ordered mine on the same day and it shipped yesterday. Shouldbe at the dealer by this time next week.

Dealer on Crack..

What gives? I ordered in late September and dealer says "might be built in December". I want my $$$ back!!!

Doc, it all comes down to dealer allocation. Did you buy from a small town dealer or a large volume dealer? The salesman told me since the truck was built so quick DC must be hurting for orders. If your dealer doesn't have allocation, the truck will be held until they do.

Cool, I ordered mine on 10/8.

It is the frame department right

now and the frame will meet the body sometime during Saturday night's

midnight shift. Final assembly will be Sunday afternoon.

Scheduled to ship Monday, I don't know how long to get from Detroit to NJ.

Jeff, don't let Big Bob see this, he ordered your truck pretty much except white Laramie & HO/Auto and it's still not built. Ordered it a month before you too and from a dealer that turns over quite a bit of inventory.
