new 2000 24v cummins pistons possibly for sale or ?'s on 12v use..

ok i just bought a set of 2000 cummins isb pistons and rods. I really only need the rods but if the 24v pistons will work in my 12v project engine i might try em. anyideas?. . any one want to buy a set of new 24v pistons with rings new? they were supposedly from a engine that was damaged in shipping. if i do keep em i would get them valve clearanced for higher lift 12v valves and coated... . mummn i have pics of them too so email me if interested.

The 24 valve pistons have a centered combustion bowl, the 12v's have an offset bowl.

If you want to use 24v pistons with a 12v engine I would advise using a 24v head so your injectors spray patterns mate with the piston bowls.

i was looking at the 370 marine pistons and the bowl shape looks similar to the 24 is theshape at least i knew the 24 was centered and 12v a little off. mummn i guess my best bet is to sell them. . whats a good price for new 24v pistons?

yes i won them on ebay now i need to sell the pistons so i don't pay a ton for the parts i need ie the rods... so any one want a set of new pistons ? cheap... ???
