We are going to pick up a new 2017 3/4 ton Laramie for the wife today. I sure hope it holds up as good as my 2005. I haven't kept up with any of the new trucks so any thought, ideas, or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks, Ed B

I would put it off for a day and read some issue threads here. Doing that will give you a better idea how to check for common issues and make sure the truck operates correctly. The vibration at 60-80 mph being just one of the things you need to be aware of.

What vibration at 60-80?

Neither my 2500 or my 3500 have exhibited this?

It is not all the trucks. But many from all three brands are having some vibration issues. For some it is the axle. Others the tires. Some have fixed it with redoing the leaf springs. Some had to swap or rebalance a drive shaft. Some of the trucks still vibrate and Ram says it is normal.
Mine is fine also. But there are some guys that have had this issue since day one. It is recommended to take a long test drive and get up to speed.

Well, we picked the truck up today. Plenty of power and no wobble at any speed. The only thing it doesn't have that she wanted is the full wheel well liners for the rear. I'll find them here before too long. Ed B
