Well, finally got around to installing the new 275 injectors today. Didn't take too long at all... . about 2. 5 hours and that was my first time and I had to change the connector tubes too... . that was the hardest part, getting the lines out of the way to pull the tubes. So, what is the deal with these tubes I was supposed to change? Why do I have to change them. Yes my serial number was pre 56462592, but when I pulled the old tubes out there was no way I could see any difference in them except for the part number on them. I was under the impression that they were supposed to be quite abit lighter than the new ones. I didn't take any chances tho, and installed the new ones. Well enough of the whining... . I'll leave that to the turbo now;) . All I can say is WOW, It sure did wake her up. took it for a ride after and turned the comp OFF for the first run. I couldn't really tell a whole lot of difference, but then again the roads were pretty wet and raining like heck. I really noticed the get up and go when I turned the comp back on (still only an EZ... . no wire tapped yet). Took it up about a 1 mile 6% grade, she really took off up that hill, then I was about half way up doin about 60 mph and gave it about 3/4 peddle and the tires broke loose and a$$ end kicked out... . and thats with possitrac, that gave me a wake up. Hoping the rain will stop tomorrow so I can take it for a real run. Only thing that really bugs me is I have to wait till next summer atleast before the DTT goodies go in..... then the old wire tap:D

Adding the DTT is like getting a NEW TRUCK. Oo. Just had mine done and added the DD1's. My dog does not like to ride in the back of the truck anymore. :{

Probably got tired of getting slammed into the tailgate. Kind of like having the carpet jerked out from under you. :D

:D He is big dog at that. He is a Mastiff/Rott/Pit mix. He weighs in at 110lbs:eek: solid muscle. He weighs more than my wife, and she refuses to take him for a walk. :{ :-{}

DISCLAIMER:

No animals were actually hurt in the above statements. The only thing hurt was my pride when a PSD pulled along side of me at that light. I let him get away because I had my beloved dog in the back.

Well now I have a question for ya all... ... . should I turn off the Edge Comp or take the 275's out and put the factories back in and leave the comp on? Started to notice a little shudder in the torque convertor today, so I phoned DTT, no Bill but talked to Shanti. She profiled my truck and said I better do one or the other(or buy a new DTT trany:{ ). My truck has too many miles on it to just add the vb and convertor. So, I'm just wondering what anyone else has thinks I will have the most fun with till I get the trany done (which could be awhile:( )

shanti, tells it like it is... ... pay me now or pay me later ... ... ... .

your choice and the power is there to unleash ;)

BTW Bill and Stefan are in Vegas racing the "wolf pack"

Go get em Stef
