I ordered my new Dodge 2 months ago and I last heard it is setting in Lorado, Tx FFT Toledo FFT Butler, Ohio and then to me (man I just can't wait). I know everything is a matter of choices but I'd like some input into such subjects as bed liner spray (rhino) ? , Good flaps,(dually) and if whether anyone knows if the MOPAR seatcovers offered by the dealer are worth the $$ compared to anything else. In Timbuktu here the computer is the only way to fly/shop. Its my first post so please be nice to me. Thanks
I like the Bed Rug, it makes getting into the bed nice and easy on the knees.
If you are getting a topper of any kind the bed rug is the best choice, but even without cover, the Bed Rug is able to take a beating and cleans up nice and easy.
Once you try a Bed Rug you will be done with Spray on liners and other types of liners for good in my opinion.
Also get a tail gate seal, Stylin Concepts sells them, it is a rubber seal and it does keep all the dust out.
While we are talking about the bed area, don't forget to order the Bully Tail gate lock, replaces the OEM handle and has the key in the replacement handle, easy install and looks just like the factory handle, Dodge should do this from the factory.
I also installed a Jason Hard cover, not crazy about the lock design but the cover is really nice and the lift frame is heavy duty.
For mud flaps I went with the Husky molded mud flaps, love them.
For gauges I went with the center dash console and ISSPRO Boost, Trans Temp and Pryo gauges, I also went with a DiPricol Fuel Pressure gauge in an SRT 10 A-Pillar mount.
In the engine bay, I installed the Kilby condenser guard and the MPC guard.
For engine blood I have started off with Chevron Delo 15w-40 oil for the first 15,000 miles at which point I will be switching over to Royal Purple 15w-40 and make my rig feel like the Royal Subject it is!
