Call Dave Smith Motors in Idaho. I got mine from them. They are the biggest Dodge dealer in the US. They routinely load up with Ca certified trucks. You'll also get a terrific price which might include a plane ticket. I'm from San Diego. They'll provide the necessary paperwork. Weigh it and go to the DMV and cry as you pay the taxes and fee. It'll take maybe 30 minutes.

Quite a few 3500's here in western PA right now. We now have CA emissions on our new gassers, so I would assume that there would be no problem buying a vehicle here.

Thanks,

Looks like Dave Smith Motors has 2 3500 Laramie's left. I'll have to call them.

I feel for the CA residence that continually are getting rip 0ff on truck Reg/Lic,CA has one of the most higher fee's in the Nation, and you don't even have exit #s on get off ramps, come to think about it I can't remember Mile makes either. I guess you the same reasoning on the road as the State manages its budget, Yep when you're gone past your get off/stop you can spend twice as much going back to we're you should have stop/get off. On the truck I would wait if possible, until We know what going to happen to Chrysler?

We do pay a lot for our reg. here. Good weather+liberal control over the political system= bum paradise:{. Sign # are becoming quite common I guess for the folks who can't remember street names. Regardless of a # or English the freeway system gives you literally miles notice before you have to respond. My friends from Australia were in awe of our freeway system here.

Give Frahm Dodge a call in Norco Ca, thats 1. 5 to 2 hours away from you, its next to the 15 freeway. They would normaly have a lot of them, but due to Auto maker problems, who knows . Don't know there web site but the phone # is 951-272-3110.

Maybe I will try ordering one and see what the dealers say.
I have to say the GM (government motors) offering is looking more attractive! Good engines, excellent transmissions, ride almost like a car and willing to make deals. They have full lots.
I wonder why the Dodge lots are so empty??? What kind of financial strategy do they have in mind???

Another vote for Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg, Idaho. Ask for Marty when you call. He'll help you out. DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, buy from Folsom Lake Dodge in Folsom, California. You WILL get seriously ripped off there.

Check out Greenville Dodge in Greenville, TX. They usually have quite a few on their website. And their prices are usually pretty good.

I have not dealt with them, but they were recommended by a fellow professional RV hauler as good people to deal with.

Plus, if you go to TX, I can recommend a great place to get an auxilliary fuel tank installed!

SPucillo, where are you getting your info on inventory, there's one on the ground in Long Beach at Glenn Thomas Dodge off the 405 North,white,4x4,DRW,fully loaded, they have a few left of DRW's and SRW's. I know that Jim will work with you on a truck, excellent dealership. Call Jim and let us know the price,or just post the price of both the Chevy and the Dodge and tell us how they both are equipt. I'll bet you that Jim's price on the Dodge will beat the Chevy/GMC hands down, equally equipt trucks mind you. I was surprise to read your post someone is giving the wrong info my friend. This site and DTR will direct you to a smokin deal in you will listen.

There is a reason GM has lots of them for sale and its not because they are high quality so they keep a large stock of them. IFS, Aluminum heads, runs real hot to the point your clutch fans always stays engaged, torque management programed in the Alison for protection to name a few. Stick with the Dodge, you will regret it when your towing heavy pulling a grade in 110* temperatures with the GM. ;)
