We don't do retail so I can't tell you exactly. I can tell you that they have been averaging around $1700 - $1800 plus freight and installation. Winch mount or front receiver is extra.

If you are mechanically inclined, you can install it yourself in your driveway in less than an hour. It only weighs 146 lbs installed. These

T-6 alluminum extrusions will take out a deer at 80 mph. We know that for a fact.

So far all our testamonials have said that the insurance company has waived deductables and paid for any superficial damages. (busted headlight and turn indicator on a 3500 Ram. He hit a 6 point buck at over 80. )

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Nice looking piece! One question: if you hit a deer at 80 mph and the bumper doesn't deform at all, where does all the energy go? Seems to me you'd bend the you-know-what out of your frame rails!

Well there wasn't enough deer left to pack anything in the freezer. Antler put a ding in the bar. If there was enough energy to displace, the frames crumple zones are going to take some of the impact as well as our mounting system. Air bags will only fire if what you hit is big enough to slow your truck down in an instant. A deer won't do that.

That bumper is awesome! Does anyone know how much the stock bumper weighs?

I have had several off for test fitting. I did not weigh any of them, but I would be surprised if they exceeded 100 lbs.

Group purchase maybe?? Sure would be nice to get it to the 1500 range shipped.

I'm in on the group purchase. Maybe we can split the freight Jeepdude.

Glad I read it before it was deleted, might have missed all together. The way it was before, I'd say you would get more than 10 orders. But now, might be lucky to get that. Could you P. M. me their phone number.

Thanks.

The best thing to do is send an e-mail to sales@uteltd.com
The number will get you directed to a dealer.

Well, if we can identify 10 people in this forum who would 100% FOR SURE buy one of these for $1500, then here's what I propose! Don't say you're in unless you HAVE the $$$ and are 100% committed, as your flaking out could cost the rest of us $100 each.

The crazy idea... I will offer to DRIVE TO SEATTLE and pick up these bumpers for anyone in the Norcal area who orders! I have an enclosed 20 foot car hauler that I could drag up there, load up, and bring back to the Sacramento/Roseville area. If you are located on the way between Seattle and CA, I will drop it off at your place on the way back. I would keep track of mileage and fuel used, and split that fuel $$ amount between however many people's bumpers I picked up. It looks to be about 1600 miles round trip. If I average 12mpg and fuel is $2/gal, that's around 40 bucks per person for shipping if we get 7 other people along the northern west coast on board! For those of you in SoCal, I will hold onto your bumper until you can come get it from the Sacramento area at your convenience. . you still save $$.

I don't know about you, but $1540 shipped is one heck of a deal I couldn't refuse for a bumper like this. Does this sound feasible or am I on crack? Who's in!!?!

Of course I'm not sure of one thing... if these ship directly from Australia to the end-user, this whole idea might not work. I was assuming that they were shipped to the Seattle Ute Ltd. office, and then shipped to the end user. Does anyone know for sure? RCryer, could you verify that this plan could work?

I'll buy one if there are enough guys for a group purchase. I'm only 2 hrs from Kent so I've got it easy!

Keep us posted if there are enough guys.
