Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I purchased a new 4" Motoblue exhaust system from rpmoutlet.com and what an adventure that turned out to be. First I must say that the service was fantastic and the shipping time from order to delivery was incredible. The box was pretty roughed up from UPS, but what else is new. I think UPS could break an anvil. Actually the box was busted up but the pipe was fine. The quality was very nice and the bends were accurate. So now you are asking "Whats your problem then"... . Problem is... It didn't fit.
I have a NV5600 and the system they sold, that was advertised as "Fits all applications" won't fit as designed. They want to place the 8" diameter muffler on the down pipe and there is just 6" between the frame rail and the transmission. You find all this out after the old system is cut out
. Well... lucky for me I have the means to make modifications ie a torch, welder, tooling and a nice shop or else I would have been a screwed monkey (screwed is an understatement). After many hours under the truck and lots of cutting and chopping and rewelding, I have a very nice exhaust. It was just a LOT more work than I was hoping to get into.
Just BE AWARE and be prepared if you order this system.
