new 50/55

Just went from a hy35 to the haisly 50\55 tonight ,and all I can say is:--) My low end is all but gone, but the top end more than makes up for it I think i'm going up in injectors soon. Does anyone know what kind of power can be expected when going from the bd 4's to 6's or 7's. I wish I could have dynoed before and after the switch just to see the power difference and the power curves.

Didn't know they were doing a 50/55! First rate folks there, would do business with them again in a Min! Really like there Aux Fuel System.

Power to expect... ..... Probably low to mid 500's with bigger injectors.

With your 4's you probably will be around 460 HP. With the 6's I would expect to see 500 and with 7's maybe 515-525 HP.

Thanks for the info. The other question I have is can I stack a box on top of the dd ufm? If so what brands or kinds can I use.

You'll have more then 460hp, but less then 500hp with the BD IV's, prolly 485 or so as a guess.



You could stack a VA box with your UFM since it plugs into the back of the injection pump, however I personally wouldn't do it.

Why would it not be a good idea? Would I be better off getting larger injectors first? Would the twin boxes just overwhelm the pump? My "signifigant other" said it all started with those #@$ injectors you sold me. Ohwell, thanks for the info so far.

Duh I just put two and two together... ... ... ... I didn't realize it was you. Still like them???????? (Hope so).



I wouldn't do it because I "think" it would be too much timing, but thats just my opinion.

I did an old va and drag comp. Hurt my times. And the VA got hot. It sure smoked tho. It looked like it was gonna light em up and then fell flat on its face.

Yeah the injectors are still doin' good. And I'm finally gettin the tools to help them run. As far as the boxes go I guess I will stay away from stackin' em.

chris it sounds great. I had it on the night I got it from you, I just could not wait. The only problem is that my truck wants to run 85 now on the interstate Seriously thoug, I think its a great turbo as long as you dont mind some lag. Mcoleman, you should come to a few of the GDOA get togethers. We get together in missouri and illinois every 5 or 6 weeks.
