Hello from the desert again... :)

Just thought I'd drop y'all a line to say that last night (Sunday Morning actually) at 0247 my wife gave birth to my third daughter.

Sarah Anne Hinson is 7 lbs 5 1/4 oz and 20 inches long. Mother and daughter are doing fine and will be going home from the hospital by Wednesday.

Congrats on the new addition:)

Glad to hear both are well.

Bet you can't wait to come home and see your new daughter.

Be safe!

congrats crash, children can be one of the best parts of your life if you give them the chance, my thoughts are "live with passion and live with compassion" you have been blessed to raise and guide a child into this challenging world, what a beautiful thing

:D :D :D That's wonderful, Crash. From an AF Retiree, congratulations to both of you.

They are precious, wonderful bundles of joy...

(and then they become teenagers... ... ... ):D :D :D

Congrats on girl number 3. This is from one of the original "FAT ALBERT" ( thats the name for a C-5A trash hauler) folks at CAFB. Glad everyone is doing well.

May the Lord bless your children and bring you home safe and soon to be with them.

Mrs Crash really needs a hand... . Do you have family or something that can be there to help? I've got 5 kids... I know what kind of a disruption they can be :)

Update

Hi all,

Thanks for your well wishes and now here's an update... .

About four days ago, right before they were going to release my daughter from the hospital, she came down with some kind of infection in her stomach and has been moved to the ICU. I got notified on the 7th that her condition was listed as 'guarded' and the doctor requested my presence here to support my wife and the new baby. My commander talked to the doctor for 30 minutes and I was on a plane on the morning of the 8th. So now I am back in Colorado on emergency leave taking care of my family. As of last night, her condition was improving and they are going to try to let her have food again (she's been on the IV for about four days) in about 48 hours and see how things go from there.

Thanks again for all of your support and I'll let you know as things progress.

Later,

Joe
