Just did a quick search at break time for 160 cfm compressors.

Stumbled onto this one....C15 CAT Power....1600 cfm...

We had to have one nearly identical to that to feed the filter presses while our air separation plant was down for maintenance. At first I didn't pay much attention to it, but after about the second day of watching the fuel truck roll through the plant twice a day to fuel it up, my curiosity got the best of me and I opened up the side panel. There she was, a big ol C15....

It was tied into our filter presses with a 3" hose. Quite the unit.

All in place, plumbed in. Now waiting for a special electrical panel with quick blow fuses. Hoping that gets here shortly.

The total storage now using the existing tanks under the recips and the new 400 gallon tank gives us 800 gallons of reserve air. The I/R screw is running a lot less already as a result of the increased storage capacity. It should have a very easy semi-retirement once the Atlas Copco comes on line.
