The autos do appear to be running about 50 RPMs lower when the Scotty III is installed, although for the life of me I can't understand why. The only explanation I have is that when the converter on the 48RE locks up, its not locked up completely. The 5 and 6 speed equipped trucks do not, of course, experience any change in cruise RPMs.
