just received my monthly invoice from auto parts company. tucked in with the bill was a flyer for castrol multi-vehicle atf. says the following:

1 - premium quality, part synthetic formulation offering exceptional low temp performance.

2- enhansed friction durability for smooth trans operation.

3- exceptional high temp protection.

4- Certified and Approved for the following spects:ford v and mercon gm dextron 111 approved for H spec. allison c4.

5- recommended for applications calling for chrysler atf plus 3- and atf plus 4, nissan matic -d nissan matic j and toyota type t-iv.



anybody heard of this or used it ?
 
Nope, news to me? Castrol has been around forever though. I'd keep looking into it before trying any. Let us know news as you find . . .
 
Inteesting... ... ..... one size fits all? I wonder when all those manufacturers got together and engineered their transmissions to all use the same friction modifiers. :-laf
