New Auto Trans

I just read in the latest TDR that the best way to go is to buy a NEW transmission from Chry. Also try to go through a Shop of some kind to get a discount.
Question: What is a good price for one of these NEW transmissions from Chry?

DBF: Did you notice a large improvement over the original trans? Currently mine is working fine according to the Trans. Tech. where I have it serviced. To me it seems lazy, slow shifting and when I am towing I don't think it ever locks up. When I am not towing, at 65 mph I am going around 1700 rpm.
When I am towing at 65 mph I am around 2000-2300 rpm. Doesn't seem right.
