Fundamental Operation of a Weight Distributing Hitch

Need to remove C Pillar Dent

Hi, I tried to get a Pullrite hitch in Canada but found that Hijacker in Victoria BC bakes an 18K hitch for what it would have cost me to get a 14K Pullrite for.

It took three hours to install, came with all the bolts, brackets, etc, needed. They even include an fish-wire to get the bolts through the tube frame!!! I am thoroughly impressed with Hijacker.

The hitch is WAY heavier duty than the Pullrite hitches are. I took my rig for a quick pull onto the highway and around the city and never had a problem.

Here are a few pics.

I used the under-the-bed install kit so I would have no rails to fight with when I am not towing.

Cheers,

Looks like a nice design... I assume from the guides on both sides of the head that there is no adapter than has to go on the pinbox like pullrite uses.

Csavard,

I know this an old post, but how far does the hitch travel? I am currently looking at the 24k pulrite because it has 18 inches of travel, but I am very interested in the lack of pinbox adapter plate required for the Hijacker.
