Does the severe duty Filter kit clear out such contamination?

NO.... this is the company we have been using for 10 Years (Its illegal to spin on any AE series filter on direct injection) My preferred filter is AE-03AZL, the rating are actual

AE-03AZL gets 50% of 4 Microns, 98.7% of 24 Microns on the 1st Pass, it will also collect 100% of all free water and will plug 100% shut when contamination reaches it max holding capacity.

All the filters you read about on this forum and other we have tested and found the ratings are very misleading and in some case(s) deceiving. Again I will mention this some filters are design to filter fuel others are designed to stop contamination.

FASS filter and revised pump (60psi) are now installed on my truck.
Given time I will advise how well it works.
