With the release of the 2014+ Ram HD Ball Joints comes our Front End Upgrade Kit for the 2014-18 Ram 2500 and 2013-18 Ram 3500. As with the previous years, this is the ONLY system in which buying a combination of parts results in a retail discount.

This is now available for order from all Carli Retailers!

After all these years, is Ram STILL having problems front end steering parts durability and quality? I have seen the adjusting nuts stripping on an adjustment arm causing a recall. It's hard to believe in the 21st century this type of issue could occur.

I lucked out and never had steering/ suspension problems on any of the 6 Ram Cummins trucks I owned. 93, 00, 02, 03, 09, 17.

Cheers, Ron

I think it depends on how the Truck is used, if someone drives a lot on dirt roads with potholes with speed then sure the things will wear out faster.
For me the Carlis have been and still are the solution for wearing down ball joints to fast.

Ozy, You are describing the streets in my town/city of Laramie, Wyoming and the front end of my 99 with 136k is worn out and needs new track bar and all of the tie rod ends and links replaced this summer when I am done towing the snowmobile 33' toy hauler for the season.

I just had the pleasure to explore Maine's and Nova Scotias roads in spring. Even the Can#1 is in horrible condition. Truck was beaten up like on African Safari Tracks.

We spent the night in Laramie last year while on our month and half trip from San Antonio Tx to the west and northwest. Nice place. We checked out the railway station and old locamotive. We managed to skirt some pretty severe weather there and along the way.

Looks like with recovering from my surgery, we won't go out again until the Fall.

Interesting to see the other responses to this thread.

Cheers Ron
