Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) new clutch master cyl how to bleed?

Installed a new clutch master cylinder and there is no provision for bleeding on the slave cylinder. Do you have to buy the slave--do the new slave units have bleed ports? 2001 2w drive, six speed.

The only way to bleed it is to take the slave out of the bellhousing & keep pumping the slave rod in/out until all air is released, but make sure that it is below the master cylinder when priming.
