Hello Everyone,
I just bought an 83 1 Ton Crew Cab 4x4 SB SRW and am in the process of shipping it home.
It is a 440/auto/NP205 Dana 60's front and rear with 4:10's and lockrites in both diffs also.
Now its time for me to start researhing the swap to the Cummins B5. 9.
I would probably like to keep the truck and auto but I want an overdrive unit. How strong are the 518's?
I would also like to use a 94 to 97 12 vavle engine with the inline pump.
Any suggestions? Any words of encouragement?
