Here I am

New CTD soon

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Order Status / Route Codes?

Thanks for the help..

I'm a new member on the site although all of the research I did here sold me on my first CTD (and diesel for that matter). Ordered on 1-3-05 and hopefully here soon.

Give a newbie some advice on what things are important to watch out for when switching from a gasser.

I'm looking forward to the towing grin when the weather gets nice this spring. :D

Welcome

Mike,

I want to be the first to welcome you to TDR. . :)

You have found a great group of people who will prove to be very helpful in the future.

Secondly, it just so happens that we are having a little TDR get to together for some wings next Sunday in New Stanton. Feel free to stop by and meet some of the local group, even if you don't have your truck yet. Just let me know if you are interested and I'll give you the details.

Justin

Thanks for the welcome and invite but I think I will pass on the offer. I have a few plans for next Sunday and won't have time to make the 4 hour drive. We visit the area every so often (Ohiopyle SP) so maybe someday I'll catch up with you guys.

Welcome aboard i'm also waiting on mine. first rear diff fluid level my buddy brand new was low on fluid, before signing anything test drive it for thr dreaded 70 mph vibration

check the body panel and doors for alignment (had the problem on my 02 ram)make sure it steers straight, paint ,interior ,etc. and thats about it.

Wow, I didn't know the new ones were getting pushed through that quickly, it seems there would be alot more than just a test drive on my part if these are the standard look before buying on the new rams. If there is anyway you can take it for the weekend, I would do so, tell them you are looking to take your wife on a short trip to prove to her that the $40,000 you're spending is worth it. (whether you're married or not).

Make sure you get it up to full highway speeds and vary it to check for cab seal noise too. My buddy's son is still fighting to get his quieted down.

Try to line up a few shops to look it over, including an alignment shop, to get a four wheel alignment scan performed on it, not adjustment, just scanned. Once you buy it, the dealer will not be so willing to make it right, put it in the purchase agreement above your signature.
