New Cummins Coming!

Talked to the Supplier who builds the pistons for the current 5. 7 Hemmi and the 5. 9 Cummins engines today. They were at the Tech Center doing a Supplier showcase. Anyway, we were looking at the pistons and I mentioned that I had an 03' 555 and we got on the subject of HP. He said they are working on the pistons for a new Cummins engine. He wouldn't give specific Hp and Tq #'s but said it would be over the current 325 Hp and would do so with a larger Cubic Inch.

Most likely the ISB 6. 7 Cummins that is currently in operation in Europe. Also, the trans could end up being a 6 speed auto built by Aisin. The 6. 7 Cummins already showed up on a DC spec sheet posted on the TDR a few weeks ago. The trans is pure speculation on my part as I've only read bits and pieces about a new trans, but nothing concrete. FWIW
