Ok, I've got a friend who works at the Fenton, Mo plant and he says my engine was built in Mexico. From what I gather, my '06 2500 Auto, Quad Cab was built in Mexico but the 5. 9 Cummins was built in Columbus, Indiana. Is this correct? How can I find out?

Just want to say welcome to TDR but i cant help with your question but someone on here will be able to give the info your lookin for!

Cummins also builds engines in Mexico, but don't know for sure how to determine where our engines are built.

The 5. 9 and 6. 7L engines are built at the Cummins Mid-range Engine Plant (CMEP) in Walesboro, Indiana. Just south of Columbus.

Cummins,CMEP-Columbus Midrange Engine Plant located in Columbus, Indiana (Walesboro) is the exclusive manufacturer/supplier of B series engines for use in Dodge Ram pickups.
