How often do you check for water in the fuel?

What does it weigh?

Hiya all, Finaly got my own cummins dodge truck, and the great part is it s 95 with only 65k on the ticker! Its not even broken in yet. I emailed Blakers to get someone to take care of the KDP. I have a question on the silencer ring. I dont plan any power mods for quite some time, have to pay for the truck first!, But I have heard that removing it allows the turbo to whistle a bit more. What is involved in removing it? Plus anybody in the NW corner of PA area that can take care of the KDP for me and would be very greatfull. I have been lurking around here for awhile and finaly joined and its great to be here! Cheers Mike T

Welcome to TDR Mike.

Pull the intake hose off the turbo, the ring is like a large snap-ring, use a small screwdriver to work it out where it splits. Takes about 5 minutes. Mike

Kool!! I will do that as soon as weather improves, I have to change a bad U joint in my front shaft as it squeaks and shudders under throttle when in 4wd. I think its the one at the dif end and not the pair up by the t-case. Cheers Mike

Ok thats done, sounds better. The dealership put a new muffler and tail pipe on the truck, I hate to kill the muffler yet, maybe in a year or so. The truck originaly had the smaller stock pipe out the back, was made before dodge put the bigger angled pipe on. Now it has the 4" pipe out the back like the rest of the early cummins powered rams had. I am starting to think that the squeak is from the front axle on the side where the shifter is that engages the axle when in 4wd, the squeak changes pitch as the axle engages, and the sound is louder on the passenger side. any ideas?
