I'm thinking SCAM!!! You've seen these pics...

ISZUZ Diesel Trooper.

ship engine is a pretty safe bet. . 6 cylinder 2 cycle. . i can't tell for sure from the pic, but it looks like it is a bi-turbo arrangement. .

really big container ships have engines that are 2x larger than that one [that worlds most powerful diesel was a 14 cylinder iirc]

found me a new desktop wallpaper ;)

Call the D. O. T... he's got to be wayyyyyy overweight! And overheight for that matter...

Not for nothin', but check out the tires on that trailer! I'd say minimum 56 tires, assuming only 4 per axle.

Looks like a Sultzer. Those are good engines.

The biggest I've seen on a ship was a ten cylinder making 45,000 bhp. It was like ten single cylinder engines in series. They will burn heavy fuel (Bunker C) or #2.

Seems like a very odd way to ship out an engine. Fully dressed like that?

I thought they usually build the engine right in the ship.

And even if it were a replacement engine, wouldn't it make more sense to ship it in pieces? Apparently not.

I count about 168 tires. I believe the trailer is made up of three units wide with 56 tires per unit.
