new dash mount for my 93 ctd

hi guys! just purchased a dash mount for my 93. its a three hole from pdp and i have a autometer pyro, boost and trans temp gauges. was wondering what would be the best routing for the wires (drill hole in dash?) or air grind a hole in back a lay them on top of dash Also talked to autometer about a tach and they said to locate the power control module? a bluewire with a gray tracer pin#43? hook a tach to see if it works then if it does buy a better one. was wondering if there was a factory plug under dash? thanks for your time on this matter! you guys know these somalian t*t shakers!!!!!!

I ran my wires right down the front of the dash(by the A/C duct) and put the wires in some black wire rapping . There is a factory tach wire behind the dash right behind the left A/C duct on the driver side of the dash above the light switch . You will have to pull the speedometer dash cover off to find it . It will be dangling somewhere in that general area .
