Susposed to sell for around $20K. If that is true I bet they are quite popular... . I know I would consider one even though they are built in Brazil. .

Just a bit more info for any one that is interested. I got a reply from an email and the trucks should start arriving at the end of May or in the first week of June. Prices are 18-24K depending on options. The dealer in Texas is going to send me some info as soon as he gets it.

Looking for a nice used CTD Q/C for my Son's first entry to Diesel [he is buying a home so waiting til he gets the loan stuff done... that way he'll qualify for a larger home with todays interest how can one not get a larger one LOL]... . however this looks interesting... same price range and new ... .

Looks like an '86 Land Cruiser clone. Not that it's a bad thing, of course!

I was gonna say range rover but landcruiser seems to fit better. The design allows decent center of gravity while maximising trail visibility. Wow never realised that word had 4 i's and a y.

Also, the specs say it has an Eaton transmission, but I could not find who makes the engine.

The engine is a Brazilian ford 2. 8 power stroke.

Did a little more research and it appers that all the parts for the truck come from Romania making the crosslander a rebadged ARO244 (http://www.aro.ro/eng/index.asp?ce=cat24suv&m=244)



I belive the warranty I saw was 3 years/36K miles..... not bad.
