New diesel owner on the block

Greetings all!!!



After lurking among you all while my truck is being made, I did a lot of research.



You gave me the bombing bug early - and I don't have my truck yet - from the 53 page smoking story thread (which i speant 4 hrs reading today and yesterday) to all of the user reviews on the after market equipment, you guys have been great.



My plan so far (as funds are limited) are to get guages (the 2 on the column and the ST single pillar guage so I can keep my handle) and a TST box.....



Soon there after, I am thinking intake and exhaust...



Eventually, injectors, fuel pump and turbo...



With stock equipment I know to keep the settings low and hopefully there should not be any problems with the TST ...



Please - any suggestions as how I am approaching this is appreciated...



And again thanks for all of you help - I look forward to a long and enjoyable relationship with this community.....

I have noticed that too - mostly out west -



do you do all of your own work or is there a place locally you know of - being an electrician, I am mechanically inclined but not too confidant in my engine modification (or typing) skills.....

Im the only one thats ever touched my truck, other than one TSB



that i had done under warranty.

I understand - I am a little apprehensive myself about letting anyone work on it - I can probably figure it out myself - but there is still that confidance level of tampering with an expensive piece of machinery - but I am sure with the help of everyone round here i can plow through all I want to do... .
