I just registered after lurking for awhile. I've had a Super Duty and two HD's and this is my favorite rig. The Cummins and 6sp make pulling my 16,000 lb 44ft goose toy hauler a dream. Never thought I would buy a new Dodge but I'm glad I stopped by the Dodge dealer before I bought another Ford.

I agree with you. I had PowerStrokes and Chevy Duramaxes before I bought my first Dodge in December. I test drove 3 or 4 different Fords and didn't like the feel of the engine or transmission. Nice interiors..... crappy engine and drivetrain. The Chev/Duramax I just sold has actually been a great truck, but this Dodge is the best puller I've ever had. All I can say is when that Cummins gets rolling down the freeway it flat pulls. I also like the Dodge because I feel like I'm driving a real TRUCK :D . Sits up high, great views, good stereo, nice turbo whine, and averaging 14. 5 mpg during 3,500 miles of towing so far  . Life is good.

Question: How much supercharger/NOS is being fed to that to make you think you attained 1800 HP?

I was making around 800 rwhp when the car went 9. 12@149. 5 it's first time at the track.

That was on a 300 shot of nitrous at almost 3400 lbs.

The turbo engine that's going together now is a 403 ci solid roller put together with all the best parts. Heads flow 400cfm,thumper series turbo will blow on the motor. We're gonna start testing with a 94 mm and go up from there. Oo.

The engine will make 750 hp naturally aspirated, when I stuff 35-40 psi through it and spin it to 8500 rpm I have no doubts about making 1800 hp. :D

I'll have a ton more steam and will be 250 lbs lighter this year.

We all have to get our thrills somehow. Whether it's going 50+ mph down a hill on a mountain bike or racing a car... I'll stick w/ my bikes and CTD. ;)

Cheers!

Hvy
