Man they coulda sold a ton of these already if they'd have done this back when the BR bodystyle first hit the market. I know I'd have bought one then... . now my priorities are slightly different. But I'd still love to have one sitting in my garage (whoops no garage yet-guess I'd have to build one too! )

Looks are not important ... the freakin truck goes 150 and does the 1/4 mile under 13. Fast is beautiful.....

JR2... ..... I agree with you... ... ..... to a point. I saw a new 1500 up on a lift. All the suspension components looked cheesy to me!

My guess is that this thing is not at all like the stock 1500 underneath. With 500 hp and 500 tq the stock 1500 would self destruct... I wonder what one will cost... ... 60K is my guess.

I agree with Batman, the new 1500 suspension does look cheesy. Now I like cheese, but this seems like limberger cheese (ya know, the baby diaper-smellin stuff) to me.

Payload capability??? For what??? It's a race truck, not a work truck?

I realize it won't be a work truck, but my a#$ is big, so it neads to haul a big one. It wouldn't be fun to put two fat guys in the cab and have the axle riding on the frame

I don't remember what year it was, but probably '96 or so, there was a concept truck called the VTS. It had the 400 HP 8. 0 liter version. 0-60 in 5. 9 and 1/4 mile in 14. 3. Not nearly as fast, but they did have at least one like this in the old 1500 body style.
