new door weatherstripping

. . anybody replace the weatherstripping around the door with the JC C Whitney product and have the trouble I am of closing the door after installing same?

Gary,

Been there, done that! I tried the JC stripping thinking it would save a little money. Well, had trouble closing the door and the drivers side split in about a month after it was installed. Went to local dealer and got OEM for about the same price and it made all the difference in the world. Door closed much better. the rubber is a little softer on the OEM seals. Sorry you didn't see some of my earlier posts-might have saved you some trouble.

Weather stripping

I did the doors on my M-880 (AKA 76' W200). I got Nos stuff from Saturn Surplus and it worked fine for me. It was about 20 to 30 for both doors. I have nothing to gain by recommending them, I just have been satisfied with my dealings with them.

. . couldn't figure out what I needed on the Saturn website so ended up ordering from the dealer.

Expensive from them but it does fit and now all is well.
