New Duraflaps just arrived. Any advise or helpful hints before I put these on?
Sure are heave duty flaps!!

Thanks!!

They are fairly easy to put on nothing funky with them when I put them on 17. One thing to be aware of, they are longer than your average flap so be careful backing up to a curb you can catch flap between the curb and the tire with a high enough curb. Not really a real issue unless you start climbing the curb

Thanks for the heads up. How far off the ground did you put them? Did you have to shorten yours?

Mine were predrilled, so there wasn’t any adjustment without drilling. I did drill and raise them about an inch.

Be sure the screws are tight, I never could keep them tight on my 05. The rigid flap vibrates more, which is why I think the screws were always loose. I lost one on a road trip and pulled the other 3.

Thanks for the advise. I will check out the loose screw issue

I modified mine as my DRW sets lower than most in the rear with the Factory Rear Air. Second pic is right out of the box, unmodified. I raised the rears to where the LongHorn was still visible around 2".
