I found a New Dyno Jet at Shelley Automotive in Spokane, Washington. They have had it since August, 2000.

I had to go down today and give it a workout!

The guy that own it and the guys that work there just happen to be some old friends of my wife. We had a great time. Might be a Dyno Day in Spokane in future.

I'll tell you, the "White Obsession" really blew them away. They just kept shaking their heads, saying I impressed! In fact one of them said that he might have to get rid of his big block chevy!

Bob you forgot to tell us the details. What kind of numbers did you put out? What do they charge for the dyno use?

Well alright here are the numbers, I didn't want to influence anyone with BD Dyno Days coming up in April, but what the heck, "The HORSEPOWER" race in on! #ad

I'm really surprised I got these numbers with my weak clutch! #ad

#ad

1st run was with PE off and Bully Dog III's.
2nd run was with PE in 1st level.
3rd run was with PE in 2nd level.
4th run was with PE in 3rd level.

Being I let this out of the bag, I might have to pull a few new ones before April. HeHeHe! #ad

Big Bob... nice numbers! In fact, GREAT numbers. Guess since the "rubber hit the road (dyno!), this is what "real" HP is!

Congrats again on some beautiful numbers!

Hey Bob, would have loved to see those guys' faces ! #ad

Count me in for a dyno run. How much did it cost? Was it by the run or by how long you were on the dyno? I want to run my truck in its current configuration to get some "mildly BOMBed" baseline numbers, using a dyno that is not too far away. I make it up to Spokane fairly often. Last fall I called all over Spokane and was unable to locate any sort of dyno other than the class 8 chassis dynos up there.

You better leave the PE OFF so I have a chance to keep up with you on the way to Rob's. #ad
How the heck did you keep the transmission binder from slipping, especially after you spun it so easily with stock injectors? It seems that I bring out the bad side of a clutch when riding with someone... first you, then Evan.

bob
i hope you don't mind waiting for a sub 300hp sub 700ftlbs truck on the way to robs. do you have tow strap so i can at least keep you in sight. #ad

Hoowah! No guts, no glory right Bob? I love it!

Nope, Bob is runnin' Blind #ad

We're planning to drill his exhaust manifold at the BOMBfest, we'll peek inside the hole and check for molten aluminum #ad

I think BIG BOB is trying to get that new aluminum oil additive I've been hearing so much about!LOL

Alright guys, I'll go and stand with my nose in the corner, but please don't beat me! Please! I know I've been a bad boy. #ad

Just a couple of notes before I go to my corner;
Since I put the Bully Dog III's in, I leave the PE off. I don't tow anything, I don't pull any long grades under full throttle, I just play with short burst of HP now and then. #ad
#ad
Dyno run were WOT from about 1200 rpm to about 3600, about 10 second burst at the most. I didn't time the runs, but I know they were not very long. #ad

Ok, I know, I know, I'm going to my corner. #ad

It was still worth the looks on the guys faces and the commits that were make at the Dyno shop! #ad
#ad

OOPS! Look what I started BIG BOB. #ad

..... you don't think it was intentional do ya? #ad

Under the recommendation of many TDR Brothers I got the SAE Dyno numbers. The difference is 1. 725% or about 7. 1 HP in the Hot #3.

I also noticed that the Dyno run in the Hot #3 didn't seem to reach the peak HP, the run quit at about 2575 rpm's while the other runs peaked at about 2700 rpm's. They were having a little trouble with their Dyno, probably because it was new and they were not completely familiar with the operation.
