back in January i ran the dyno at SGS (where the Spring Fling and Fall Brawl are held) My highest #s were 249 HP and 555 TQ - comp on 2X5 and exaust.

today i dyno'd again at the same place for Spring Fling. since January i added a S&B intake, Mach 4's, and a Phat Shaft 62. with the comp on 2X5 again i got 415 HP and 862 TQ

an increase of 166 HP and 307 TQ:D (no box i had an increase of 162 HP and 329 TQ) They are 150+ HP injectors!!!! Clean too - they didn't blacken the sky out too bad

i guess i'll have to tap that pump wire for the next trip there and see how close to 500 HP i can get. I don't know if i can pick up another 85 horses.

couldn't be happier with the Mach 4's. That turbo works good too, but it would be nice to be able to compare it to a SPS 62.

Yep Mach 4's are a very proven injector. mach 4's and smarty put me at 405 HP.

great combination for no wire tap.

JMachemer,

When you put that combo in I thought you would love it. Awesome numbers and looking forward to seeing you run at FB.

How heavy and what altitudes? Looking at your sig the KSB1B turbo will reduce your cooling somewhat over the PS62.....

i don't do any towing with the truck. The temps probably would be an issue though if you were pulling much even with the box off. I see 1100 degrees once in a while just chugging up the hills in Pennsylvania.

My pyro might be on the outs. everyonce in a while it drops to zero. Bad gauge or a loose connection? i'll have to do some investigating.

Thanks again Doug. It is an awesome combination for the conditions i use my truck. Its great for just putsin' around (no smoke, very smooth) but it will get up and go when the coal is thrown to it.

Doug - 13k high profile 5er, generally flat southeast, sometimes I venture into the smokeys.

My KSB1B has 80k on it and I think I am going to rebuild it / have it rebuilt at 100k (center section). Maybe have it reconfiguered to spool at lower rpm / boost. Now spools pretty well above 10#, but not well below 10#.

I rarely ever tow more than 65 mph and generally 60 - 65 mph (have to stop the rig safely, and yes I get into the right lane and STAY there, and have a large plackard I attach to the ladder stating 63 MPH so drivers comming up from the rear have better info on my speed since it is a little slow and it provides them more info for their pass or not pass decision)

I think it is the S300 frame and is somewhat reconfigurable (turbine / compressor ratios)
