I went from an Autometer setup to the Isspro and now the highest I can get the temps to rise is right at 1300. I used to be able to bury the autometer to 1400 no problem. Why the difference?

Don't know the answer, but my Autometer Pyro gauge 0-1600* has been on for over year and a half. I have had a HOT Juice/Attitude pyro sensor pre-turbo about an inch and a half from the Autometer pryo sensor. They always were within 25* or so. Same after I switched to the TST PowerMaxCR, the TST pyro sensor replaced the Juice pyro sensor and it too is very close to the Autometer gauge at any reading.

Just trying to say that the Autometer and Isspro should give numbers very close to the same. One certainly needs calibration, wiring check, etc. I guess I am predudice, but I would lean toward the Autometer readings. My 600 with an EZ could push 1450* if I got on it hard on higher level.

If one reads 50 high and another 50 low, it's not that much. I've got the isspro with the electronic amplifier, and I hope it's off by no more than 50. One more reason to not push it too high for too long.

You can heat up the old probe (hooked to the old gauge) with a torch until it reads about 1400 and have someone with a professional infrared meter point the meter at the tip immediately after you move the flame away.
