A friend has a six speed, DDII's and a BD box, had to replace the clutch.

Seriously, when I went to DDII's and an EZ, the tach did a nice little dance whenever I put a good load on the clutch. A full step to the right, then a half-step left, then back to the right.



Clutch slip, heat up, grab. Truck go faster.

The engineered safety margin on the 6-speed clutch is pretty low, I think as little as 35hp? Even so, some hold after the mods. Most don't. StraightSix was slipping with just the EZ.

When is he due back?

Or did he stop in North Carolina to put Sidekick on a train with a blanket and tarp over it, called the rigger's when it got to Providence to pick it up and drop sidekick back in the garage on the blocks?

ha, yeah, my transmission doesn't hold lockup that well anymore (in 4th) and it can slip a little more now in 3rd locked. DTT after college asap!
