Here I am

New England Wrench Day -- Post Game

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Washingtonians, when does SIR start up?

RMTDR gatherings???

All I can say is THANKS! Thank you John, for your experise in killing the pin, as well as your patience in my plow set up  .

Also, thank you Tim for adjusting my idle, and Andy for cranking up my gov. springs, worked great. Of course, thank you to Scott for his hospitality and advice. As always, a great get together and plenty of diesel fumes to relish in. I agree that the next get together at a dyno facility would be worthwhile for most of us. Besides, maybe we can interest other diesel folk in joining in and have a shootout.

Wheaties, (I like that handle ;) )

The transmission pulled fine all the way home. I am surprised it held as well as it did but I'm not giving it much time before it craps the bed. Luckily Massdiesel will be installing my DTT mods This saturday so I'm not going to give my transmission a chance to Self Destruct. Too bad that all-night diner, no I mean, dyno wasn't open. we wouldn't have been home until 2:00 am. But I would have been Happy :D A CB is definetely next on the agenda. I was laughing all the way home. :-laf

Jeff, I hate to say it but Nicole thinks the straight pipe is Too Loud :{ Oh well, we gave it a shot but hey, I LOVE IT!:D She definetly wants a change to her exhaust but unfortunately, Thats not it:( So we'll have to think of something else

Was Toolmans install of the Blue chip FMS wizard box a success?

Nicole was very disappointed that she couldn't make it and sends her best to everyone. She'll try to be at the next one.

Wish I could say that my gf can't wait for the next event.....

We learned the hard way that our interests are VERY different... . and our tolerance of each others interests is only that... . tolerance, not active participation or attendance. Ahh, the things we do for love... .

Thanks to all for the kind words... . *tear in eye*

Looking forward to making more power with the New England Turbo Diesel Power [insert any of the following words: "Association", "Club", "Posse", "Mob", "Mafia", "Fraternity" - (Sorority members will no longer be forcefully encouraged to attend... . ), etc. ] members/or buddies, family members, pets, parasites, etc... ...

Later for now,

Matt "Da BOMB"

Wow, where to start?

Another fantastic meet Oo.

My sincere appreciation to our Spokesman (Batman) and Secretary (Wheaties) for the coordination and organization of the meet, food, etc. Not to forget Massdiesel for the use of his shop and technical guidance :D

With the help of Fred (HeyBoss), George (Batman), Scott (Massdiesel) and Tim (Dews) my DD 2’s and UFMCU installation was a breeze:cool: While there, we also checked the VP44 Magnetic Pick up Screws (Consumer Alert VP44 Pump) for security. Both screws were as snug as a bug, in a rug. You guys are great:D

The Women, well you gals are the best:D Coffee and beer runs and for putting up with us, puts you in a class above the rest.

Mactruck, think if we had another injector install we might have got our time down to 1 hour LOL:p

The award for the best time has to go to the KDP guys. J Rowe (John), HoleshotHolset (Matt), RottnDogue (Darren), and Bsoldie (Brian) were awesome. Someone mentioned they did one in an hour and ten minutes.

Matt (Wheaties), Jim had to leave so his gauges will be installed on April 6th. The women deserve at least an outhouse. Let me know what shade of pink to paint the sheet rock compound bucket :-laf After this Saturday I would think a DYNO Day would be in order to evaluate all the added horsepower:D I can’t wait

Batman, sorry to hear the problem resurfaced :{ The intermittent problems are the worst to troubleshoot. Keep me posted on the outcome.

Joe

As far as "facilities" for the women. I think we should mention they should wear skirts, and, Bigdaddy, I will bring the seat for your pink bucket:D

I'll keep you informed of my dilema

Be safe,

George

Hold on to those mufflers! If you live in an inspection state, as I now do (New Hampshire) you will need a muffler for your vehicle inspection. I went to two places this morning to get my the "Limo" inspected and they wouldn't even look at it without a muffler. Now I have to see if I can dig up the bucks to get a 4" system from JRE. Just what I needed after an expensive move. OH Well, if you're gonna' play. . .

On the lighter side, I enjoyed meeting all of you! It will take a couple times to get the names matched to the faces. It can be a little overwelming being the FNG. (the new guy). Thanks for the warm welcome, see ya'll soon.

Oh, and MackTruck, if you are looking for a CB, contact www.bills2way.com they were fast trustworthy and had better prices than Express electronics. Tell them you are a member of the TDR so they will start recognizing us for "future buisness. :D

Newf

Didn't even realize you were there, on sat, or I would have introduced myself. Dont despair on the inspection, if NH is anything like MA you WILL find a station that will inspect your rig. This is waaayyyyy to public of a forum to discuss friendly inspection stations, but take your time and ask around. There are allways the "$100" inspection stickers to be had. I 'might' know a guy who has an older truck that isn't emmisions exempt that would never pass that got a legitimate sticker for a few extra bucks. ;) Ask around, you never know who your going to run into that can help you out.

BTW for the MA guys I know on gassers the muff and cat are required to be there just for the visual part of the inspection. Don't know and don't need to care for diesel, I allways get a sticker:D :D :D

You guys are great

Hey, I had a good time and sometimes I forget some of you.

Thanks BigDaddy for your technical support on my fuel pressure check, by the way where was I for that VP44 check? I guess some lack of communication:rolleyes:

Hey MarkF don't forget that you have a trailer behind you on your way to Fl. glad you liked that Ez, have a safe trip.

Batman, thanks to Batbabe for the coffee, she even remembers how I take it, good luck there with your dilema .

Special thanks to all ladies for putting up with our bs.

Also a lot of credit to Massdiesel's long hours as he had just flown in from BC and being up close if not more than 24hrs.

Take care and be safe,

Fred.

BigDaddy: That pink sheetrock mud bucket thing killed me..... I hope I didn't wake anyone up laughing. :D

Great meet guys/gals/pets... . can't wait for the next one... .

Later,

Matt

Yeah Mark, Newf was the one there with the "Newf"oundland as in dog... . LOL man if it doesn't throw smoke, and Beat Phords no one notices..... :D :D :D :D

Darren

Newflimo, It was ice meeting you also, and tht bear you brought also. It was a Kodiak cub... ... ... ... right?:D Other than a great dane,I've never seen such a large dog.

Hope you can make it to more events.

Newflimo, I'm pretty sure a turbo is considered a "noise supression device" in New Hampshire. Might want to look into it. Also, if you do need to get a muffler, just pick up the muffler and slap it in. If you don't have the capablility to do that yet with all of your stuff probably still in boxes from the move, contact MassDiesel. He would be able to set you up.

forward to oil leak thread

Guys,

Many of you asked me to keep you apprised of the status on the oil leak. Here is the thread: oil leak

The mooks at the write up counter first said it was the 'fuel transfer pump gasket' . . uh, you mean the lift pump? ... then corrected it to the 'air pump' before finally settling on 'vacuum pump' Ah well, they mean well and are going to take care of me.

Wheaties

Matt (my elder... ), I wish you the best of luck with your mending process. My local stealer is pretty good, but I've heard of way too many horror stories to have any faith in most of the others.

Matt - no longer leaking engine oil OR type 7176 transmission fluid!! :D
