Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) New Exhaust Installed

Did it in the driveway took 2 hours. The old came off fairly easy with the help of an electric impact and reciprocating saw. The new Magnaflow 4" S/S was engineered well and complete. Actually read and followed the instructions. Biggest PIA was aligning the 2 piece tail pipe, I have a 305 X 70 spare that got in the way. Seemed like every-time I had it set and tried to get the impact on the clamp (fishing the extension thru the brake line and axle) the clamp moved and the pipes slipped out of alignment. Once I held the pipe in place with a floor jack it went smoother.



Nice system, good fit and finish - fairly easy to install and cost effective.

I also have a Magnaflow 4" SS exhaust.

I wonder if an exhaust brake (Pac maybe?) could be added easily. It's been too long since I installed, and I don't remember the pieces from the turbo down.

It's an easy install, the valve replaces the 45 degree elbow on the turbo.
