I've used Fluidamprs on all my drag racing engs. for years, but with them all being gas and very loud, I couldn't hear any dif. with or without them. I just new they are the best at what they do. Deal with harmonics.
What it does on my Cummins is much more obvious.
The little drive train buzzes I get at different RPMs in different gears are much diminished.
When I shut the eng. off, the typical rattle is much quieter.
It might be my imagination, or less cab noise, but the eng. seems to accelerate smoother.
It's the first one I've had on a diesel, and I like it.
It's kind of like "You 'can' have your cake, and eat it too"
