New Fuel Filter and Truck Feels Different

I had a new fuel filter put on my truck and now the truck seems slugish when taking off using my bullydog on the performance setting. When i switch it up to the crazy larry setting the truck seems to run as good as it used to. I'm not sure how or why the truck is running bad in the lower hp settings. The only difference is I went from a 10 micron to a Fleetguard 7 micron. Anyone have this problem or have any suggestions?

I'm running DDP 83hp injectors with Smarty on sw1 or sw3. No difference going from 10micron to 7micron filter. I've always used Fleetguard filters. Maybe some dirty fuel entered the clean side during the changeout?
